Why I’m quitting Facebook.

Today, as the world recoiled in fear when Facebook went down, I came to the realization that I didn’t care whether or not Facebook was up and running. I follow most of the people I really give a shit about on Twitter, and if they don’t have a Twitter account, I have their phone numbers.  I can contact people when I want to, and I can be contacted with great ease without the clutter of Facebook.  It’s going to be a ridiculously hard endeavor, but I’m hopeful that I can accomplish it.  Another reason I’m doing it is because when I tell people I have been considering getting rid of Facebook, they laugh and joke about how I can’t do it.  Do people really have that little faith in me? Well, fuck that. Also, being in grad school, two jobs, and a bunch of other interests going on in my life, I just don’t have the time to be on FB. I have better ways to spend my time. :) While I have tons of fun trolling you and your friends on Facebook, I’m, honestly, sort of jealous of people that don’t have Facebook. :D

Here’s how to get a hold of me:

See? That’s like a million different ways to get a hold of me. Alright, good talk. Wish me luck.
